This technique channels a large amount of lightning chakra to the user's hand. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the Chidori into the target. This produces heavy amounts of damage that is usually fatal. - Narutopedia
When using the Chidori, the electricity that envelops the hand will extend out five inches from the user's fingertips to form a concentrated blade. With enough force the user can pierce through flesh easily and deliver fatal blows. Without mastering the technique it will be difficult to make sharp turns while it's active. Extra Information: Mastering the Chidori, with a word count of 1500 words, will give the user access to the different variations of Chidori.
