Kikato and Hanako out in town

Kikato would walk Hanako back into the village and look at her talking in a soft tone "Thank you Hanako, and would you like to...I dont know....Go get something to eat?" he would blush a little as he asked her, he didnt know her answer, but it was only something to eat, it was completly harmless, he rubbed the back of his head slightly emberrased

Hanako nodded vigorously. "Sure, why not? No need to be embarrassed, we're just going out to enjoy ourselves, right?" she would say, completely oblivious to the man's thought process. "Where do you want to go? I wonder at how big Iwagakure can seem sometimes, 'ya know?" She would smile happily at him, having finally found a person who she sincerely liked more than Oto-san (not that she liked him much in the first place, but there was a time and place for such thoughts).

Kikato smiled as he would offer his arm out to her, his elbow out to her, his hand down towards his hip, in a gentlemanly fashion and would ask her "Well lets go to your favorite place then, show me the way, its my treat" He smiled big, even though she might not think it a date, this would be his first outting with a female, missions with female anbu not included cause you couldnt see their faces half the time

Hanako took his arm, and thought for a bit. "Well, I used to sneak out of the kage palace sometimes, and go eat over there." She pointed to a fairly nice restaurant in the middle of town. "Rin-chan would always be lending me money... I think I owe her a fair amount by now, eh?" She would smile sheepishly, remembering her own reckless behavior. "I have some fond memories of that part of town... so... you wanna go?"

Kikato would smile and nod at her, speaking softly "Yea I would love to see it" and he would begin to escort her over to the resteraunt, then when they got there, he would go and pull a chair out for her and offer her the seat, if she sat down he would scoot her in so she was comfurtably at the table, then he would sit opposite of her, and smile as he took a menu and looked at it

Hanako was now seated opposite Kikato, so she also picked up a menu. "Um... wow, this placed hasn't changed much. Even the air conditioning is still really nice!" She would order a glass of cold water from the waiter, while they decided what to get for their meal. "Um... so while we wait for the actual food..." Hanako scrambled to think of something. She was so desperate for something interesting and impressive to talk about to him, that she blurted out the most concerning thing on her mind. "Did you know Oto-san has another daughter?" Thinking back on it, it was a good thing Oto-san wasn't watching her right now...

Kikato would do the same, getting a water first to start the meal, and then having his order in mind, he put down the menu and listened to Hanako, and with her words he would look suprized and shake his head and spoke to her "Shortly after the Chunnin exms I went right into Anbu training, so i didnt get to know anyone in the village really, but its nice to know" Kikato didnt really care, cause this right here was all he wanted, but he kept the conversation going for Hanako's benifit "Well do you wish to talk about her? or no?" he asked with concerne

Hanako felt her heart skip a beat. She was talking about something her Oto-san chose to ignore. However... he had never expressly forbade her to talk about it, right? Well then... "Um... about three weeks ago, before the village was transported to Sunagakure and then back here, Oto-san created a daughter from his own cells. He made a mistake, so she came out all scarred. Oto-san rejected her, so she ran away, to Konohagakure, I think." She recalled her Oto-san's memories of that, of the almost beautiful girl who had called out to him before he turned his back on her.

Kikato would frown a bit listening to her story, he would shake his head and sigh softly "Well I wish I could do somehting about that, but Kozai is my kage, i must obey him till death" Kikato would look down as he is now in a bit of a jam, to do what was right by his heart, stand up for the outcast, or follow what was right in his head, stand up for his kage, Kikato would drop his face into his hands for a moment then took a sip of his water

Hanako nodded solemnly as the waiter came up and asked for their orders. "Um... I'll have that beef stew I had last time. It was good! Uh... some white rice on the side too please." She put down the menu, looking at Kikato. What was going through his head now, that he had heard this bit of news? Conclict? Agreement with either Oto-san or her lost sister? Hanako knew that she shouldn't try to think like men did (lest she confuse herself), but still... she wondered...

Kikato would order from the waiter "I want Garlic Ginger Miso and pork fried rice" he nodded to the waiter and let the waiter walk away with their orders, then Kikato would look up at her and speak softly "Hanako, I have a peronal issue with that, as I belive he did her wrong, but he is my kage, and as his Anbu captain and he entrusted me with the scrolls to Jinton Release, I am in a dilema with your story, as it has effected my judgment on your father" Kikato would look down and sigh softly as they waited, taking another swig of water

Hanako chewed on a piece of carrot for a bit, savoring its flavor. It had been quite a long time since she had tasted this... several weeks, perhaps? As the waiter left, she looked thoughtful for a bit. "It's not just that, Kikato-san. The fact that she has the very chakra of Kozai-Oto-san means that even with her weakened body, she has immense potential. If she meets the wrong people... she could become bitter and resentful rather than forgiving and kind. Then, there would be no redeeming her."

High up in the kage palace, Kozai grew curious. What was taking his daughter so long? Dates usually didn't last for this amount of time... unless dinner or some such thing was involved. Well, he hadn't eaten out in a while. First to find out where she was, he mused, as he tapped into her senses without her knowing. Oh! So they were talking about his mistake. He chuckled slightly. Well then... of course it was assumable that the "mistake" had a personality of her own that could be influenced by others. Well... Kozai just had to make sure that the "mistake" didn't attain the level of power that they were talking about. Using his biomancy, he would take the form of a normal civilian, and appear a couple of blocks away from the restaurant, suppressing his chakra. His appearance would be impossible to detect from the restaurant itself.
He walked into the dining area, whistling a jaunty (but perhaps lewd) tune, further deepening his disguise.

Kikato would listen to her as she spoke, eatting his fried rice, and pouring the miso over the rice and eats some more, then he would offer a bite to Hanako to try, then the whistleing of a stranger caught his attention for a moment, and he looked back to Hanako, and he smiled at her, and he place a hand on one of hers

Hanako stopped suddenly as Kikato put his hand on hers. She smiled at him, and looked into his eyes. Even if her Oto-san didn't approve of their relationship, surely... they could carry on in secret? She was sure she could find some way to stop Oto-san from peering into her mind at all times in the da- hold on a minute. That tune sounded familiar, it had been booming out in bass inside her father's imagination forge that day. She hadn't recalled hearing it in any other part of the village... she sent a mental signal to her father. "Oto-san... where are you right now?"

"Oh, it looks like you found me. Whoops, I guess songs really do get stuck in your head. Well, now that my cover's blown, I guess I'll just wait until you two finish eating. Truly, I don't have a problem with the two of you getting together and whatnot. It's just part of a normal girl's life, or at least YOUR life. If this was Rin, I'd be pretty surprised. She'd crush him like a bug if he touched her." He chuckled silently, thinking lovingly of his daughters. How quickly things were moving along...

Kikato tilted his head as she seemed to space off and he spoke to her softly to try and get her attention"is everything ok Hanako?" he looked worried for her, and he would look down a little shy to ask this but he had to anyways "I....always kinda of rushed through life, its why I am such a young anbu captian, but let me know if we do go to fast, cause I would like to have a realtionship with you, if the kage would approve" he smiled softly at her to try and cheer her up

Hanako looked up at him, and smiled a little. "We can go as fast as you want to... if you like." Now that her Oto-san approved, she wasn't so nervous anymore. Of course, she wasn't completely comfortable yet, this being her first relationship in her short lifetime thus far. As she was about to speak again, telling him that her Oto-san was in the restaurant, time would appear to stop for everyone except for Kikato, Hanako, and the man at the other table.

"You two deserve each other. Have a fun night now; do whatever you like." With that, Kozai would briefly flash into his original appearance, and disappear, returning to his palace. Time would resume as normal.

Hanako blinked twice, then grinned at Kikato. "So, I guess he really does approve. What are you up for now?"

Kikato would blush as he heard Kozai and saw his Kage, even though permission was given it was still embarrassing to him that they were spied on, then he hid his face at Hanako's question, he didnt know how to handle this all at once, this was his first date, his first relationship, and she said some kinda embarrasing things, as he did have hormones raging, he still had no idea of what to do at this point, and all he could do was stammer

Now that the meal was over, Hanako stood up and draped her arms around his neck from behind, feeling the warmth of his skin on her. "Say... where do you live? I hope you don't stay in the barracks all the time; if you're the head of ANBU, you really should be living in the palace with us! That way, I could see you every day." She normally wouldn't say this to someone... but it was alright to say this to someone, right? Especially someone who she had helped to develop an advanced element.

as he took a bite of food she said to move into the palace and he choked on the piece of food and looked at her after he was able t swallow it down "where would i sleep, your room
?" he asked her, and he stood up, dropping money on the table for food and looked at her, he wanted to know where else he could stay

Hanako giggled. Kikato could be so silly, she thought. "The palace isn't small", she would begin, detaching herself form Kikato. "There are plenty of rooms for you to have. But... if it does come to it, I suppose you could stay with me..." she would consider this thoughtfully, her hand on her chin. "Eek! I mean... uh.... actually, I don't think anyone would have a problem with that. If you want to stay with me, you can... but I'd have to do a bit of cleaning up."

Kikato laughed as she eeped and he spoke "How cute, well if you would wish me to stay there with you.... i cant tell you no" Kikato smiled at her and began to walk her out of the resturant and down the street "So where to now and what activity?" he was a bit nervous still, but was calming down quickly and adjesting quicker then earlier

Hanako thought for a bit. "Well, it's getting a little late. I know I've got a lot to do tomorrow; genin to train and such. Why don't we head back to the palace? I can show you where you'll be staying!" She grabbed his hand, and pulled him out of the restaurant and toward the palace, laughing. "Come on! It's going to be great!"

Kikato laughed softly as he got pulled along to the palace of the tsukikage, following the kages own daughter all the way, he would slow her down once they had it in site and when they got close to the gate he would pull her real quick to face him and into his arms, and before either could say anything he kissed her softly on the lips and then smiled when they broke apart "Well lets see this already"

As Kikato pulled her to him, Hanako felt a wave of bliss as her lips came into contact with his. Oh, he was so warm and strong... and goofy, too. As the separated, she rubbed his hair fondly. "Alright, let's go in." They entered the palace without any kind of trouble, and took the elevator (which somehow flew) and ascended to the 3rd floor from the top. "I have this whole floor to myself! Oto-san lives up one floor, and has his private... er, lab thingies on the top floor. Rin... well, she sleeps on the balcony above the top floor. I don't know what possessed her to chose that part of the palace... but she's kinda weird." She showed him around the floor, with the bedroom, and the various other rooms, such as the kitchenette. "There are apparently enough resources and space here for a whole family! So..." Oops. She had mentioned a family already! Uh... was she going too fast? Or...

Kikato raised an eyebrow at the mentin of a family and asked her with a soft voice "Had a drem about having a family at all?"Kikato chuckled as he was lead around the floor and payed attention to everything, he liked the design and layout, and she wouldnt be far at all from her family, this kinda seemed perfect and weird at the same time
