| Basic Information:Name: Kotasuna (Surname unknown) Gender: Male Age: 31 Nickname: Goes by many, many aliases, all of them are not mentioned here, for convenience. These Aliases change nearly every time he enters a new town. Examples of his most used ones are Sir Prize, Esquire, Otasu, Kay Height: 6 foot Weight: 130 Pounds Clan: Hyuuga Bloodline: Byakugan Bijju: N/A Shinobi InformationVillage: Missing Ninja Rank: C-Rank Element(s): Water, Earth Specialties: Master Ninjutsu The ShinobiPhysical Description: Kota is a skinny, incredibly spry man with visible aging. He is in very good shape, due to his profession of choice, and the demands he has to meet on the job. His hair is brown and messy, with a long braid hanging down that is usually concealed. His beard is simple, not too shaggy or showy, though he sometimes grows it out to throw bounty hunters off his trail. Clothing/Gear: Changes incredibly often, due to his habit of changing appearance to blend in with the crowd. Often, when traveling, he wears a long green cloak over a simple tunic and pants. When on big jobs, his equipment is of tight leather, with a black cloak with a unique pattern to help him blend in, a mask over his face, and a hood. His face is rarely seen on the job. Personality: Kota is definitely a kleptomaniac, and always has been. He likes valuable objects, and doesn’t much care for honor or the life of a warrior, or any of that crap. He is a man of few words, wise beyond his years from uncountable experiences, and can be seen as manipulative much of the time. He is a compulsive liar, though he covers it with the guise of a warm, kind man with good intentions. He loves objects of sentimental value far more then objects of monetary value, and will go far out of his way to acquire such objects. He rarely grows attached to people, but one that finds a place among those he cares about is surely guaranteed safety from any who would seek to harm them, where they are aware of his protection or not. He despises murderers and the like, for he values human life incredibly highly for one in his line of work. That isn’t to say he won’t kill or harm another human being, but he would rather take any other option then killing. Likes: Valuable objects, Objects of sentimental value, treasure hunting, silence, good plans, music Dislikes: Complications, loose ends, witnesses, and snitches Background: - Spoiler:
Kotasuna hails from Kirigakure. He has no memory of his life there, as he was captured in a bandit raid as a baby, where his parents were killed. He would have been killed as well, if not for one particular bandit, the leader to be exact, whose wife could not bear a child. Kota would be used as his heir, in lieu of a real son. The boy learned the ways of the bandit, but came to dislike the taking of lives and torture, as his fake father had tried so many times to make him do. Finally, one day when Kota was 17, the man dragged Kota, along with a captured girl, both of whom were locked in a house together. The last thing Kota heard from his father was “Make her yours or rot in there, your choice.”
That made things difficult, as Kota was incredibly unwilling to partake in anything of the sort. However, he did have a backup plan. An old member of the clan had taught him to pick locks, and he quickly put to use by unlocking the door. The girl, anxious to escape, pushed Kota aside and ran, alerting the clan. As it was, it appeared the girl was running from Kota, who had not yet exited the building. Kota quietly slipped out the window on the backside of the house, watching the men chase the girl by horse. Kota quickly found his bow, letting an arrow fly at the horse of the front rider’s leg, causing it to fall and trip up the other horses. The girl escaped into the woods, and Kota did the same, stepping lightly on the brown leaves of the forest as he slowly worked his way away, deciding he was through with that life.
He set out for the city, watching the travellers cross the long paths to the ninja villages. Realizing he had no food, no money, and no equipment save for his bow, he quickly staged a highway robbery. At the point of his arrow, he was handed valuables by wealthy merchants who passed through, until he gathered enough to make a life for himself. He made his way to the village of Kirigakure, building a makeshift den in the sewers. There he would plan his thefts, quickly growing rich from this way of life he lived, and quickly making a name for himself in the underground.
As he aged, he grew richer, and as he grew richer, he grew bored. Poor men never learned how to avoid his trickery, and he made a fortune off the common man… but now he needed for nothing, and grew sick of this way of life. Preying on the innocent was far too easy. So instead, he turned his crosshairs to the wealthy, the corrupt, and th powerful. Gone was his desire for riches, in its place was a desire for glory. For infamy.
