Kozai decided to go visit another village. He needed to collect more intel for his Endless Library in Niflheim, so he plopped Iwagakure back into the real world. He held the golden sphere from his desk high into the air, and Iwagakure would flash away, appearing a few miles from Sunagakure, where it would then be superimposed by Niflheim, disappearing from the world.
